The Kashmir alpine ski shop was created by Mr. Yasin Khan and Mr. Hamid Dar in 1989. They  opened a ski rental shop with a ski arsenal of only 2 pairs…

The same year a war broke between India and Pakistan. The dispute about the ownership of Kashmir’s land left the region empty of tourists, a fact that did not stop the 2 kashmiri partners from opening their shop for gear rental every day (9 years of war..!) 

Today Kashmir Alpine Adventures offers winter as well as summer adventure sports retreats.

In winter KA is offering:

• Quality ski and snowboard rental gear.
• Mountain accessory rentals such as avalanche safety gear, gortex ski suits, snowshoes, alpine trekkers, skins and more.
• Mountain guiding services.
• Ski school.
